Hi GFI and Gradisca-Team,
As a faithful Gradisca-paricipant I thought it might be interesting for you, that me and my team are organizing a big 4x4- and travel-festival on the famous Erzberg in Styria/Austria every year. This year it is the 11. time in a row now, and with over 750 4x4 vehicles and 2500 guests last year, we are expecting about 1000 vehicles and 3000 guests this year, so it is by far the biggest event like this in Europe (similar to your fantastic gradisca-event! J).
It is not far from Italy, especially from north-italy, so maybe it might be interesting for your colleagues and friends of your gradisca-event as well to come and participate.
Because of that I designed a flyer in Italian language as well, which you can find attached.
Maybe you want to send the flyer and maybe the event-description (you find the press-event-description attached as well) to your mailing-list and/or the italian szene-magazines?
That would be great! If you want, I will give you free entrance as a “payback” for you and some of your friends if you would like to come and participate. J You would be very welcome!
Btw.: If you like, we could do some kind of “austrian-italian-partnership”, and I am promoting your event in Austria (sending informations to my mailing-list) and you do the same for our event in Italy?

11th OTA Globetrotter – Rodeo at Erzberg, Austria
The Globetrotter-Rodeo at the famous Erzberg in Austria understands itself as a meeting point, informative platform
and get together of the international Travel-, Adventure-, Offroad- and Slide show Scene.
It is organized for the 11th time in a row at the last weekend of August which happens this year to be from 28th to
30th August 2015.
The 600.000 m² area for free off road driving surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Erzberg mountain range
under expedition likely circumstances offers a unique atmosphere and experience that cannot be found elsewhere
and makes every Travel- and Outdoor Enthusiasts heart leap for joy.
Event Highlights and Activities
The Globetrotter Rodeo consists of enormous side events including 9 extraordinary and rewarded Multi-vision
presentations, various practice and travel focused workshops like welding with the car battery under field
circumstances and an exhibition area for 35 leading equipment producers and suppliers of the Travel-, Off road and
Outdoor scene.
This year’s program focusses on Photography and Audio visions. Under this subject the organizers are offering a new
“Open – Screen” Photo slam in a specially provided Photo Workshop tent. The side event delivers the unique
opportunity to present pictures of all subjects in a short slide show to the public and compete with other passionate
photographers. Besides that the new Photo Workshop tent offers workshops for travel photography, photography
basics or “Wings Platinum Tipp’s and Tricks”.
For anyone whose interests haven’t been met so far the program offers various additional side events such as free
test drives with the newest Can-Am Quad and Side by Side Models of the Can-Am Experience Tour, a RECON G6
event of the model making scene with special guests from the US or driving one of the international Trophy- and
Truck Trial Competition vehicles in the course of the “Krawalldackl Offroad Challenge”.
The huge sand mountain which is entertaining our younger visitors will be equipped with play diggers and tractors to
provide the “smaller kids” the chance to play like the “bigger kids”.
General conditions
In 2014 the camp area has been overcrowded by more than 700 Off road vehicles. According to the fantastic
feedback of participants and the ever increasing numbers of vehicles the organizers doubled the size of the camp
area to create space for up to 1.200 vehicles for this year, meaning about 2.000 to 3.000 visitors from all over
Europe. The sanitary facilities, the shuttle service to the action areas at the driving terrain, the security concept as
well as the entry procedures and gastronomy have been adapted to the rush demand.
The Entry fee of € 10 per person and € 50 per vehicle includes camping, all program parts and side events such as 9
Multimedia presentations, shuttle service to the action areas and usage of sanitary facilities for all event days (Food
and beverage excluded).
