| Aggiungo 2 soldi alla discussione. Ho trovato questo articolo (scrivo il link spezzato perche' altrimenti non me lo fa mettere, non so se e' vietato?) che sembra ben fatto sui 4runners e indica chiaramente quali annate evitare:

Nel paragrafo sulla seconda generazione scrive che:
As for reliability, the V6 engine suffered from failing head gaskets. Other than that, things to look out for are common problems found in older vehicles such as rust, leaks, and of course that saggy suspension.
Since the V6 is unreliable, it should be avoided. Also, because the side-impact beams added on the 1994-1995 model years made the 4Runner safer, it is the best choice.
Del V6 ne aveva gia' parlato male anche nel capitolo precedente sulla prima generazione... in definitiva e' un articolo piuttosto critico verso i 4R delle prime generazioni, forse troppo. Comunque voi cosa ne pensate?
